Regional perspective

The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the national-level institution of Hungary’s chamber system, linking the countrywide network of territorial chambers and representing business interests in economic policy. It supports enterprises through information, training and vocational education, international business development, digitalisation and innovation services, while also providing institutional frameworks for business registration and alternative dispute resolution. Under President Elek Nagy, MKIK is developing a more knowledge-based chamber focused on stronger SME competitiveness, practical use of digital tools and artificial intelligence, and improved export readiness.
