Regional perspective

Founded in 1882, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce is one of the world’s largest chambers, with more than 800,000 members. It aims to increase its members’ share in international trade and to guide them through global economic developments. Its services range from trade registry procedures and export documents to member training, the protection of members’ commercial interests, and arbitration and mediation. Organised in 81 sectoral committees, the Chamber helps companies develop new overseas markets and takes Turkish businesses to international trade fairs.
