Ost-West Forum in Regensburg: new opportunities within Europe
New trade and economic opportunities within Europe were the focus of the biennial Ost-West Forum, hosted by IHK Regensburg on 5 October.
On 5 October in Regensburg, companies and organisations from Germany and Central and Eastern Europe took part in a substantive and well-organised event: the biennial Ost-West Forum.
The presentations by the AHK representatives from the various regions, the opening addresses and the panel discussions all offered many points of interest. They emphasised that new trade and economic opportunities within Europe can largely offset the challenges facing the global economy, and that a multi-pronged approach, with production and presence across diverse locations, offers numerous advantages for the survival and further development of businesses.
The Regensburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) has once again shown that it is a worthy venue, with a professional team for fostering East–West relations.
The next Ost-West-Forum Bayern is scheduled for 10 October 2028.
